University of Alabama's AQUIREc (Pediatric Constraint Induced Therapy) site.
The therapists conducting the program that Maddie is enrolled at Hasbro Children's Hospital are AQUIREc certified. They spent over 3 years training on site with UAB and adapted this program almost identically. The greatest difference is that Madison will be treated in her natural environment and not away from home at a center like UAB. The program at UAB and the one at Hasbro are the only CIT programs that have research to prove its efficacy.
